The great thing about New Zealand is that nature is so diverse. Driving around on your own is like flipping through a picture book. You can experience high, snow-capped mountains, impressive fjords, magnificent sandy beaches, splashing geysers and huge volcanoes – all within manageable distances. The country offers adventures for all ages – New Zealand is a perfect country for a road trip with the family.
You decide the route and pace during the trip and can stop exactly when and where you want. You also do not have to unpack and unpack your things every day.
We have included the first two nights in Auckland as well as the last night in Christchurch, so that you can have plenty of time before the trip home.
Day 1-2: Scandinavia-Auckland
Day 3: Arrival in Auckland
You land in Auckland and take you to your hotel where you have two nights. After a long flight, it is always good to be able to get to your hotel room quickly and easily. Therefore, we have arranged the first two nights in a centrally located hotel in Auckland, so that your arrival will be as comfortable as possible. Auckland is a nice and easy city to find your way around – you can take a walk by the cozy marina or a ferry ride around the harbor.
Day 4: Out on an adventure
After two days in New Zealand’s largest city, you pick up your motorhome and set course for the adventure. You have free kilometers so you can plan the trip exactly as you want, but we are of course happy to help with advice on what to experience in New Zealand.
Day 5-27: Road trip

Day 28: Christchurch
Today you return your motorhome at Christchurch Airport and have a night in a hotel in the city before you head home to Sweden. This way you do not have to stress at the airport and can enjoy your last night of the trip with a nice meal at one of Christchurch’s many restaurants or take a walk in the fine botanical garden.
Day 29: Return trip
You leave the hotel and take a taxi or bus to the airport in good time for the return trip to Scandinavia.
Day 30: Homecoming
